The X-02 power armor is based on the appearance of Enclave power armor in Fallout 3. For example, if given the red paint as well as the Devil's Inferno mod, both mods will provide a movement speed buff, which will stack with each other. As is the case with most Creation Club workshop items, the X-02 comes with a variety of paints that would need to be purchased as separate Creation Club packs for base game items, with said paints providing the same benefits as they would on a different set of armor. It also modifies the appearance of said pieces to look similar to Tesla T-60 armor. Each armor part has an additional mod slot for Tesla bracers which increase the effect of the Tesla coil and "Devil's Inferno" mods.In addition, the X-02 is unique due to the fact that almost any power armor mod can be put on it. Unlike regular Tesla coil mods, the Devil's Inferno mod takes up a separate slot in the mod menu than the armor's torso misc slot, meaning that other misc mods like jetpacks can still be put on the armor without giving up the Tesla coils' unique effects. ![]() ![]() The "Devil's Inferno" mod provides various effects, such as increasing movement speed by 5%, and acts as an upgraded variant of Tesla coils. At Mk VI, the Damage Resistance of the X-02 is equivalent to the X-01 at Mk VI, but it has 50 more Energy Resistance. The X-02 variant has slightly higher health per armor piece than X-01 armor would at the same level. The power armor pieces found on the suit are leveled. The "Devil's Inferno" mod can be found in a locked safe in the same location, requiring completion of the miscellaneous quest Enclave Radio to unlock. The power armor is obtained in the Mass Pike Tunnel underneath the Boston Police rationing site, during the quest Speak of the Devil. ![]() Characteristics Īrmor parts Modifications Location ĭespite its prototypical nature, the suit can be fitted with any and all standard power armor modifications, including Tesla coils used on the T-60 model. They were eventually inspired to use the armor to become a wasteland vigilante under the guise of the " Black Devil," but by 2287 they abandoned that role, leaving the armor behind. Sometime after the death of John Henry Eden, one member of the Devil's Hand, disillusioned by the practices of the Enclave, stole one of the X-02 prototypes and retreated to the Commonwealth. The Devil's Hand, an elite special operations force, was given access to the prototypes for use in their missions. Specially developed by the Enclave for their army, the suit includes lightweight composites to give it additional speed and agility compared to other advanced power armor models such as the X-01, though the model had not finished development by the time of the Brotherhood-Enclave War.
